Rose & Conlon's powerful musical Ocean World issues a cry for help on behalf of the inhabitants of the sea. This 10-piece adaption of Peter Rose's wind band score includes new music for keyboard, designed to bring to the score synthesised sounds not possible in the original line-up
Instrumentation: Flute 1; Flute 2; Reeds Clarinet in Bb, Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax; Horn in F; Trumpet in Bb; Trombone; Piano; Keyboard (requires programming); Percussion 1 Drum Kit, Tam-Tam, Bongos, Triangle, Small Siren Whistle; Percussion 2 Timpani 25"and 28", Bass Drum, China Cymbal, Clash Cymbals, Triangle, Tambourine, Mark Tree, Deep African Drum, Bell Tree (optional), Electric Guitar (optional).
There is optional doubling of Alto Saxophone in Enigma of the Deep for either Flute 1 or 2. This part is also cued for Electric Guitar in Percussion 2. The Lead Guitar part for Man-Made Hell is printed in a separate booklet, but was originally performed by Percussion 2 in our performances.
